I have treated many lizards including iguanas, bearded dragons and chameleons. I have treated many kinds of snakes and a few turtles. (04/15/04) Vet self-recommended.

DM - Dr. McDonald has seen my green Iguana (Puff) and my Bearded Dragon (Velcro) through respiratory infections. She is great with Herps in general care. She also has seen my dogs. Dr McDonald is caring and seems to like her job. I would highly recommend Dr. McDonald to you. (01/11/07)

L&AB - We had simultaneous emergencies with two of our pets - a young Chamaeleo Trioceros Rudis and an Agalychnis callidryas (red-eyed tree frog). Because all of the exotic vets in our area were unavailable, Midwest Bird and Exotic Hospital squeezed me in. Dr. Edwards spent two hours asking questions, testing, and doing lab work on our two little ones. I was relieved to leave their office with two accurately diagnosed pets and an aggressive course of treatment to continue at home. I only wish my (human) children's doctors were as thorough diagnosticians as Dr. Edwards and the MBEAH staff! (09/08/03)

MP - Has been practicing on and raising reptiles (turtles) for 30 years. Monitor Lizard with chronic bacterial infection. Had been losing toes due to infection and Dr. Pastor stopped it and saved the foot (and lizard). Has helped me with husbandry and dietary problems. (02/05/05)

RD - Dr. Brookings is the most knowledgeable and helpful veterinarian in town! She has helped us (here at Sci-Port) with skinks, geckos, snakes, alligators, frogs, turtles, and our three-toed amphiuma. She will be present to offer her support and comments for our exotic pets workshop (On reptile and amphibian pets) that we are offering this Saturday. She is the kind of vet I trust and depend on.
