DP - An excellent practice, specialising in reptiles
birds and amphibians, as well as small animal surgery. Run by husband
and wife team Iain and Gillian Mostyn.
They don't cost the earth, which is surprising as Iain Mostyn has passed
the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Certificate of
Zoological Medicine. Ian is one of only about 30 vets in the country with
this qualification. Exeptionally knowledgable about reptiles. Given
excellent advice regarding my 2 bearded dragons. (04/04/04)

ES - They're the nearest Herp Vet to me, I believe (I've heard there's
also one in Richmond, CJ Hoare, or something?) I took my corn snake with a
phantom pregnancy problem. I prefer Stacey to Brandon, personally. I guess
they all have their different Herp specialties. (04/24/06)

The day I found Hannah to help with my tortoise was one to
remember and treasure. She saved his life and without her care and
encouragement I would probably not have my little thriving group now.
Without
a doubt the most caring and compassionate vet I have ever met -
nothing is too much trouble and the detail applied and commitment given is
second to none. Well done Hannah - you will go to heaven ;) (10/30/07)

has branch surgeries in Caerphilly and Ystrad Mynach.
Mark gave me extremely detailed, friendly and knowledgeable
advice and two types of drug treatment for a tiny hatchling gecko
(weighing only 5g.) which saved its life. He has also given me excellent
advice about my bearded dragons. He is recommended by other members of my
local reptile group and by my reptile specialist store. (11/30/02)
Email - I have had much
invaluable help from Mark with my leopard
geckos and bearded dragons. I've found him very knowledgeable and helpful.

RJ - Bearded Dragon had his foot severed by another beardie. Vet
amputated foot very well, even leaving him little stumpy toes so he
could try and get traction. Very efficient, knowledgeable and good price
(£47 for surgery including anaesthetics and baytril) - not that price
matters of course! I recommend him definitely!!!! (04/23/02)
